Local action for a thriving Tuscany

The Tuscany Environment Foundation (TEF) is a local initiative dedicated to conserving, protecting and restoring nature and ecosystems in Tuscany. By providing financial support to promising local conservation projects and grassroots initiatives, it connects philanthropy with effective action on the ground to safeguard Tuscany’s unique landscape for the future.

Why

Tuscany is world-famous for its breathtaking hills, rich biodiversity and beautiful coastline. But this idyllic landscape is under immense pressure from climate change, intensive agriculture, biodiversity loss and overtourism. The Tuscany Environment Foundation tackles these urgent challenges by supporting the people and local organisations who know Tuscany’s natural environment inside out and work every day to protect it.
