Working together for an inclusive society

Co&So (Consorzio per la Cooperazione e la Solidarietà) is a social consortium based in Florence, Tuscany. It brings together a strong network of social cooperatives working every day to include the most vulnerable members of society, including people facing barriers to employment, young people and asylum seekers. Through housing, care and education, they tackle exclusion and create new opportunities.

Why

In today’s society, disadvantaged groups, such as young people in care, newcomers and people with disabilities, are still too often left behind. Without accessible support, suitable education or a helping hand in the job market, they risk getting trapped in a vicious cycle of poverty and loneliness. Co&So offers more than a safety net. It provides a springboard, because they believe everyone has the right to a dignified, independent life and tackle exclusion at its roots.
