Protection of watery ecosystems

Water is the source of all life. Join For Water works globally to protect water and nature for current and future generations.

Why

Water is a fundamental human right, but millions of people do not have access to it. At the same time, water sources worldwide are threatened by pollution, deforestation, and climate change. Without intervention, ecosystems will continue to deteriorate, worsening the water crisis and making communities more vulnerable to drought and flooding.

Mission & goals

Join For Water is dedicated to the protection and restoration of water-rich ecosystems. Their work focuses on ensuring sustainable water management, improving access to clean water, and empowering local communities. This is achieved through a holistic approach: nature restoration, policy advocacy, and education.

Actions
  • Restoration and protection of ecosystems: Join For Water works in 9 countries on projects to protect water sources and natural ecosystems.
  • Access to clean water: Together with local partners, they improve water supply and sanitation facilities in vulnerable regions.
  • Awareness and behavior change: They inform businesses, governments, and citizens about sustainable water management and encourage them to take action.
  • Policy influence: Join For Water collaborates with governments to develop sustainable water strategies.

“Everyone has the right to water. We not only protect water, we protect a future where everyone has access to clean water and healthy ecosystems.”
