Protecting what has no voice

Wild At Life is a global wildlife program dedicated to the protection and rehabilitation of wild animals that have been victims of human conflict, poaching, abuse, or habitat loss. With a deep connection to the landscape, the organization provides a safe haven where animals can recover and, whenever possible, return to the wild.

Why

In East Africa, wildlife is increasingly threatened by human activity. Deforestation, agricultural expansion, illegal wildlife trade, and infrastructure development are causing animals to get injured, become orphaned, or lose their habitat.

Wild At Life exists to intervene where things go wrong: when animals can no longer survive in the wild and have nowhere else to go. The organization serves as a last resort for animals that need protection to stay alive.

Impact

Mission & goals

Mission: To protect and save endangered wildlife, with respect for their natural behavior, well-being, and dignity.

Goals:

  • To rescue and care for wildlife in need.
  • Rehabilitation and, where possible, reintroduction into a safe natural environment.
  • To provide lifelong care for animals that cannot return to the wild.
  • To raise awareness around wildlife protection and sustainable coexistence between humans and animals.
Actions
  • Rescue and medical care for a wide range of wild animals, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and predators.
  • Rehabilitation programs that give animals the time and space to recover physically and mentally.
  • Daily care provided by experienced wildlife caregivers and veterinarians.
  • Educational programs and visitor experiences that bring people closer to wildlife and highlight the importance of conservation.
  • Collaboration with local authorities and conservation organizations to strengthen wildlife protection structurally.

“Every animal we rescue is a reminder of what's at stake — and why protecting them is not a choice, but a responsibility.”
