Essential natural gems in danger

Rivières Sauvages is dedicated to protecting the last untouched rivers in France and Europe. Through the “Site Rivières Sauvages” label, research, and education, the organization ensures that these unique ecosystems are preserved.

Why

Many European rivers have significantly changed over the years due to human interventions, such as dams, pollution, and deforestation. Rivières Sauvages was established to protect the last remaining wild rivers and to preserve these extraordinary ecosystems in their natural state.
